Know All About Bulldogs
By by Todd Howard
The Bull is a breed with a small frame and grows to a size of only about 15 inches. This breed has a distinct appearance with its frowning looks and the sagging skin. These dogs are extremely loving and are very attached to people and love playing with children. They make great pets and can be very good company for you and your children. This breed requires a little extra attention although looking after a bull is really not a big task at all.
For keeping your bull dog healthy the first and foremost thing you must ensure is a good diet and also exercise. Care must be taken so as not to get your bull to exercise too much because the way they are created doesn't really cater for heavy exercise. They may come up with a breathing difficulty with heavy exercise as a result of their body structure.
The english bull puppies need care a little extra. They need to be cleaned properly especially between the folds of their sagging skin so as to prevent any infection from affecting the overall health of your little pup. Bull dogs find it very difficult to bear heat and at those times it is best not to expose them to too much heat , in fact it would be a great idea to keep your bull in an air conditioned room.

problems. The canine distemper (which dogs are prone to) is another disease that your bull should be kept away from. The disease is highly contagious and the virus in this case enters the body through direct contact or even through inhalation. During the incubation period of approximately a week there are absolutely no visible symptoms. After this the symptoms like fever and yellowish discharge from the nostrils and eyes can be observed. A further worsened case would involve symptoms like diarrhoea, rhinitis, conjunctivitis or even symptoms like paralysis and convulsions.
Immunization is the best way to keep your bull away from all these diseases. Immunization would help prevent any such diseases. In addition to immunization a good diet and exercise is all your bull needs to keep healthy. Your understanding of your pet and the rapport that you build would help you detect any symptoms or problems at an early stage and would be helpful in treating the particular disease.
Once you get home a Bull you are surely going to enjoy the company that this loving affectionate animal provides.
